Meeting politicians expressing interest in showing support and knowing more about the transgendered was indeed a treat, and gave me renewed hope in politics. Senator Jeanne Lucas was a sweetheart, and we should all be so fortunate to have a representative with a genuinely caring and compassionate heart!
